Kaapse Buchu Gin is an original, bespoke, handcrafted Gin made with a copper pot still and using only the finest botanicals. Notably, a foundation of Juniper berries overlaid with hints of coriander, dry lemon peels, and a myriad of other defined Cape botanicals. The Gin is infused with a sprig of Buchu allowing for effective Buchu oil extraction.
Buchu (Agothosma Betulina) Is an indigenous fynbos of the Cape, South Africa, with well documented health properties and a fascinating history thereof. Regularly referred to as “the miracle herb”, more and more information on its incredible benefits are being reported. Not only is it a protected species, difficult to grow and obtain, but it is in huge demand for its health properties in various applications. Kaapse Liqueurs has secured consistent access and an ongoing supply and are therefore very privileged to be able to add a sprig into each bottle.
