Made in 2016 from locally sourced (McGregor) Bulida apricots, picked at optimal ripeness. Double distilled in 2014 and matured in an ex-muscat cask for three years. Fermentation of mashed fruit (including the pips) takes place over a period of two to three weeks. The pips are removed before double distillation in our combined pot/column still.
The distillate is diluted gradually over up to four months to bottling strength, resulting in a delicate apricot bouquet with a hint of almond. A soft and fresh eau de vie.
43 % ABV
Only 400 500ml bottles are produced.
